In general, the design of this frame is cheap and economical in all respects. The frame is made of porous, low-density plastic, which is brittle. The diploma and tassel must be glued to the shield so that the diploma can be easily torn when moved or removed from the frame. Also, the black mount is paper (not felt) and in the case of the frame I received, it was wrinkled and unaesthetic. Finally, the plexiglass layer was riddled with scratches and other minor imperfections. The first set of frames I ordered was damaged upon delivery so I asked for a replacement hoping the next set would be in better condition. The replacements were almost unimproved and contained all the shortcomings described above. Luckily, Revain reimbursed me for both frames. I personally would give up this product in favor of a better one.
