The trick to using it is to make sure it's ALWAYS on the scar. You will need to place (trim) it over the whole scar and it should last 7 days before falling off (don't take it off when you shower). As long as you leave this on your scar for 6 months post-surgery (24/7), your scar should heal fairly well. Also, do not apply creams or lotions under this product. This product prevents keloids by encouraging your body to heal from the inside INSTEAD of the outside in. Before you buy, make sure you buy strips that are long or wide enough for your scar (they come in different sizes). Remember that the stripes are flesh-colored and therefore not visible on the body. It is best to use it a week after the operation.
