Don’t tamp! good for me
Originally, I followed the included instructions including tamping down the 4 scoops of grinds. In tamping down, my Nespresso Vertuo machine also gave the red warning light. After experimenting, I have found that four level scoops of grinds* WITHOUT TAMPING doesn’t present a problem for the machine and provides a strong cup of Joe. *Grinds straight out of store bought coffee grinds (HEB coffee, Central Texas).
- Reusable pods offer better value for your money
- It may be hard to fill the capsule with the right amount of coffee
