I'm not sure if I received a defective product or is this normal for this brand? The collar is very cute and looks like real leather. I measured my dog's neck and ordered from her recommendation on what size to buy. When the collar arrived there was VERY little tail left to slip through the loop holding the end of the collar in place. It kept slipping out and my dog took the collar off. I was going to order the next size up because this is such an adorable collar and I really wish my dog had a BUT. my dog was playing in the sprinkler today and while petting him i noticed the outer surface of the skin is peeling off. I'm not sure what could be causing this, but it affects the appearance of the collar. Now it looks like he's worn it for years and it's a worn collar, although it's been less than a week. upset.
