I've been using it on my bike for 4 months now and it works great. It's really one-handed operation - it's easy to slide the phone in and out, and it locks the phone until released. Also holds up well on bumpy roads at highway speeds. Note. Be sure to install the parts as shown in the picture, I had the handlebar mount wrong and it wasn't tightened properly until I fixed it. Also, don't forget to set the screw width for your specific phone once. This makes for a really nice fit. It uses a spring mechanism to close and I could see it might end up rusting but so far it's been great. By the way, the spring doesn't hold it in place, it just pulls back the levers to lock it.
