My skin is very very very dry and Retin A is not helping, plus I live in a very dry climate. This replaced my drunk elephant oil which I have used for years but is heavier than DE marula oil. Don't be fooled by the other reviewers, it's a bit difficult. On a light-medium-heavy scale, oil itself is a solid medium. However, I really like it and use it every night after my Retin A and night cream. I think if you can actually apply one drop all over your face then it's fine if you're looking for a lighter application, but I use 4-5 drops in my evening use. My skin is moist in the morning and that's exactly what I want. The applicator and bottle are priceless and well made, which I think adds value to them, but I never let the applicator touch my skin. It's a big NO-NO when it comes to skincare, so if you're using this ridiculous application method, you're doing it wrong. All you are doing is adding biological contaminants to your oil. It has no odor and it has a slight, I mean slight hint of yellow color. The bottom line is they don't cut corners from the one that offers the lowest price, change the formula/ingredients and processing. method I will continue to buy.
