Works great, BUT follow the instructions!
clips work exactly as described and still hold our Christmas lights on the wall. Just make sure you follow the on and off instructions. If you don't hold the sticky part for 30 seconds and then the plastic part for 30 seconds and let it dry for an hour before hanging things, it will fall off the wall. Also, when you're ready to take it off, make sure to gently pull on the plastic part until it slowly detaches from the wall. If you get impatient or try to pull the plastic tab out too quickly, it will rip the paint or drywall off your wall in no time. Follow the instructions carefully and you will be fine.
