I have found this kit very useful for cleaning dryer vents. In my house, it's about 20 feet from the dryer, through the ceiling outside the house. My issues with this are: I feel that the instructions could use better language to tell you how to put the pieces together. The kit includes an adapter for a hand drill, apparently for use with a hand drill. Great, but they don't tell you the best way to use it. I firmly plug the adapter onto one extension and the brush onto the other. Since these two parts I have cleaned up so far. I then unclipped those pieces and added extensions between the two to reveal the full length of the canal. When I was all the way, I turned on the down dryer and slowly pulled the entire length back out of the air duct. This will blow out any loose lint, resulting in a very clean duct system. Another thing I think is more useful is a quick connect system that makes adding/removing extensions easier. Score. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 as there were some difficulties in using it. Having the thread and constantly unwinding while walking is a pain. A quick connect system would be much easier to manage.
