I did a lot of research to build a small off-grid solar system. I decided I needed an MPPT controller and not the simpler PMN type. The controller is very easy to connect. The display can be a little difficult to read at some angles due to the contrast, but it provides enough information on the state of charge, battery usage, etc. It's out there to power a garage that doesn't have AC. I also have a 100 Ah battery. The controller has a temperature sensor that helps control the charging power based on the temperature of the battery (my battery and the spare controller are in the same place, it helps control). It was a great controller. I've been using it for about 9 months now. So far this has worked flawlessly.
