Update 05/11/2019: The seller has reached out again and offered to send another set to highlight the new quality control. The set that was sent to me is a huge improvement over the previous sets. All spoons were well polished with no visible defects. All 6 spoons were stamped almost the same, no part was oddly shaped. Based on this set that was sent to me, I highly recommend these spoons. I have also noticed after using these spoons for some time that they are well balanced. They mix drinks with clean circular motions that don't rattle the walls of the glass. Props to the seller that he cares about his customers' opinions and concerns. I wanted to love these spoons but the quality is terrible. Some spoon heads are not properly sharpened, so almost sharp. One has ripples on the stainless steel that are chipping away, revealing a core that doesn't look rusty at all. If I didn't send them back to Revain I would cut them in half to see if they were metal plated. Very dissatisfied. They look great and feel great in weight. Your quality control is poor. Out of the 12 I bought, 1 had an exfoliating finish and 3, maybe 4 were sharp enough that I didn't want to use them. I'd say you get what you pay for, but they were some of the most expensive at Revain. UPDATE: So the company reached out to me to try to resolve my issues. They sent me another set of spoons and said they were working on product control. Some of the spoons still had the sharp edge issues mentioned above (although not as severe), and one of the spoons had some rough edges where it wasn't properly polished (although this spoon doesn't chip). After asking my wife to review them, I would say that on average, one scoop per pack is questionable enough not to use. I give one star for the fast customer service. They seem to really care about their product, I think their supplier is just not in touch. I'm adding an extra star because spoons with no flaws are really good spoons. Solid, good weight, strong, looks good. If they get to the point that their QC is more like one of a hundred bad spoons in the boxes, it will be a no-fuss 5-star product, but for now buy at your own risk and don't be surprised if one or two spoons in the box don't have a high Quality.
