Review on 🏠 Revolutionary HomeKit Remote Control Device: Control Devices Remotely Assistant by Rick Everett

I bought 4 of these devices. All 4 were used on our second floor. Our router is also on the second floor (this is important as all 'smart' devices need to connect to wifi to communicate). Specifically, my router is in our master bedroom, as are 3 of the 4 WeMo smart outlets. I also have an Echo Dot in my room next to my router. The fourth and final WeMo was installed in the room next to mine (also on the second floor) along with another Echo Dot. My intended use case was to use them to power lamps (a very standard use case). I should definitely mention that I have a completely brutal router. My router can connect to both floors of my house at 100Mbps and even maintain a connection to the outside - that's how strong my router is. Now that the setup is clear, I really want you to know that only of these 4 WeMos can reliably connect to my router (again, 3 of my WeMos are in the same room as my router). Two WeMos are directly across from my bedroom across from the router. One has a clear picture, the other is behind a small bedside table. WeMo always behaves with a clear shot. WeMo on my bedside table seemed fine for 1 hour after the initial setup, but then it couldn't maintain a connection to my WiFi. My third WeMo has line of sight partially blocked by two computer towers. This WeMo sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. My fourth and final WeMo down the hall from my room worked for about an hour after the initial setup (same as the one blocked by my bedside table) and then stopped connecting to my wifi. Bottom line: you can't sell a smart home product if it can only communicate within your router's line of sight. The fact that my sample size was 4, coupled with the consistent behavior I've observed, leads me to conclude that this hardware is just plain awful. As the title suggests, I have no idea why this device has so many positive reviews. The Fakespot profile on this page indicates that these reviews may be scammed. I hope more people see mine. DO NOT waste your money on this item. Especially at such an insane price!
