Review on πŸ’» ASUS ProArt Z490-CREATOR 10G: Advanced Intel Z490 LGA 1200 ATX Content Creation Motherboard with Thunderbolt 3 Type-C, 10G LAN Card, and DDR4 4600 Support by Clay Ijaz

It is ideal as a baseboard for workstations.

The price is good for what it is. This is a workstation base board with a 10G network card. Most 10G Lan cards cost around $100. The downside is that it's not built-in and has to occupy one of your PCIE slots. It shares the bandwidth, but most motherboards in this price range do. T3 will be disabled when you fill the PCIEx16_3 slot. I have a 10G card with a PCIEx16_2 slot. The tradeoff is that my GPU runs at 8x, but I can leave my T3 on. My settings are for video editing, so 8x is enough for my needs. M.2_1 can run in either PCIE or SATA mode, but setting it to SATA disables SATA2, but I see no need to run on SATA as PCIE is faster. M.2_2 can work as PCIE 4x or 2x. At 4x, SATA56 (5 and 6) will be disabled. But if you run it 2 times you can still use SATA56. It's a beautiful board, similar to the Mac Pro.
