I have a German Shepherd and there are strange possessions on both sides of the house! I installed the main transmitter at two opposite ends of the house near the windows so there was a good connection! Both times the connection sucked and the signal dropped and dropped in an uneven area, unlike the dome shape he's talking about. When I tried the collar on my dog and went around the intended circumference, it kept coming off in an uneven area rather than a dome shape and even shocked my dog at one point. He jumped in the air and screamed. After that I said 'ok time to send it back' if you have some odd property and it's not that open I honestly wouldn't recommend this product. In addition, the product looked cheap and looked like a dinner, light and useless (husband ordered it from his Revain).
