My only criticism of this product is that it is very tight on the component connector making it difficult to remove. I bought two of these, for the phone and for the iPad. Both have the same density. I hope it loosens up over time. At the same time, I remove it with great care, trying not to move it back and forth for fear of damaging the component's connector pins. the sheathing/insulation of the wires broke equally in both components. Revised Review: After a few weeks of use, the fit loosened up as I had hoped. I can now fully recommend this product. I'm more impressed than ever with the solid, well-made construction. Apple should look at this design to see how to cover the wires.
