I got this for my Canon T6i (crazy I know). I used a small tripod and ball head that allowed the camera to be positioned 8 inches higher than it was standing. It was also a handy portable setup for blog-type snaps. I wanted to use different lenses which meant I needed more coverage. That's exactly what I need. The foam grip is comfortable and the wand itself is sturdy and just the right size.
