It's a radiator fan, not a blanket.
This fan was used on the 1997 Ford Ranger. Used with SPAL gasket and 4 SPAL mounting flanges, all at extra cost. Great fit. Works perfect. I wish it had a low speed option, but temperatures above 100F are common in my part of the country, so no big deal. This fan is heavier than CCP fans, has the correct wire size for the current (about 20 amps), and looks a lot more durable. Comes at a premium, but if you remove the mechanical fan you don't want to skimp on it. Very satisfied.
