Review on Wireless Smart Blood Pressure Monitor With Bluetooth Connectivity & Unlimited Memory: Perfect Christmas Gift For Men And Women by Danielle Perkins

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Accurate, Easy to Use, but doesn't come with 5V 1000mA wall adapter

After shopping several blood pressure monitors on ebay, I settled on this one as it had a lot of reviews with the highest accuracy reported for this style of monitor. I tested it at home according to the instructions, and then followed up with my doctor later the same day who verified its accuracy.OVERALL, I definitely recommend this blood pressure monitor, though it does have a couple of minor issues:FIRST, while it comes with four AAA batteries and a short micro USB link, it does not come with a wall adapter. As none were suggested, I found Dericam 5V 1A Micro USB Wall Charger to be correctly rated at 5V 1000mA, and—most important—it does not Quick Charge (quick charging boosts the power supplied, which damages devices not designed for it). The Dericam also comes with a 5ft cable. It comes with a carrying case, but if you buy an AC adapter, then I might also suggest buying a different carrying case to hold everything (I'm using a Vaultz brand pencil case, as seen in the photo).SECOND, while the readings it takes stay resident (and can be deleted by the user if so desired), the Date/Time is volatile, meaning that if you unplug the monitor from the wall, you'll have to reset the date and time. I have not tested this with batteries, only wall power. On the upside, having the clock reset every time lets me re-synchronize it and adjust for leap years (some U.S. states do not yet have permanent DST).THIRD, the readout is audibly spoken as Systolic, Diastolic, Pulse "over". 'Over' should be spoken between the Systolic and Diastolic, as in "120 over 75, pulse 80." This incorrect word order doesn't affect the function, it's just odd.
