I've been using my iPad with a matte screen protector for about 1.5 years now. The knocking and the lack of grip when writing with the original Apple Pencil tip without a protective film drove me crazy. Because of the protective film, the amazing screen doesn't look that good. Enter these Apple Pencil replacement nibs. Damn, I forgot how good the iPad screen looks. I can finally write without a matte screen protector. It feels like writing with a piece of rubber. There's definitely some resistance that I've gotten used to, but I actually like it more than the feel of writing on a matte screen protector. And it's quiet. Ah, sweet silence. Definitely recommend. Makes using Apple Pencil and iPad more comfortable.
