Throw away those matte screen protectors!

I had my doubts about the claims made about this tip, but I'm pleasantly surprised! In fact, it appears to be softer and stretches the glass panel somewhat. If you try the original Apple Tips, and then try those tips right away, you'll notice the difference. I've used various matte screen films to draw on my iPad for years, sacrificing the beauty and brightness of the iPad screen. Until now. I love these tips so much I bought four packs! :)

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Security

(sorry for the dirty nails video 😂🙏) I ordered 2 pieces. It is not 100% silent, but has less knocking noise, and also has some friction, non-slip, making your drawing and writing feel like paper. It's really great, I love it. Ideal for use on a glass screen or non-matte surface. One important thing for an artist, it's nice to use but wears out very quickly because I just put it on and tested shading a simple color in a very short time and I can see its tip deforming. These are great tips, but

Significantly inferior to the original nib

This is a good replacement nib if you don't need the experience of writing on paper.1. There is a slight lag compared to the original tip, but it's not too noticeable unless compared directly to the original tip.2. The end of the nib is larger than the end of the original nib, making the Apple Pencil look less like a real pencil.3. This will render your paper screen protector useless. The texture of this nib differs from the texture of the original nib. Writing on a screen protector using this…

Makes using Apple Pencil and iPad more comfortable

I've been using my iPad with a matte screen protector for about 1.5 years now. The knocking and the lack of grip when writing with the original Apple Pencil tip without a protective film drove me crazy. Because of the protective film, the amazing screen doesn't look that good. Enter these Apple Pencil replacement nibs. Damn, I forgot how good the iPad screen looks. I can finally write without a matte screen protector. It feels like writing with a piece of rubber. There's definitely some…

Does what it should.

These tips did exactly what I wanted: reduced the "tap" of my Apple Pencil on my iPad and brought the "pen/pen on paper" feel a bit closer. My personal experience as someone who uses my iPad primarily for writing/notes (rather than drawing/drawing): - I originally used this replacement nib with a matte screen protector, which was a mistake. Too much friction. Once I removed the protective film and began writing directly on the screen, the writing experience (and display quality) improved…

Just what the pen needs

I've been using the iPad Pro and Apple Pencil for a while. I've tried paper-style screen protectors and it's nice, the anti-reflective coating is a plus too, but the image quality is too poor for me as I do more than just note-taking and drawing on my iPad. I switched to ESR tempered glass and after about a week felt like I didn't have the control I wanted when writing/drawing. I tried these rubber tip pads which just lost precision and felt like eraser on glass. Throw in this little tip - it's
