My package was also a bit broken. Not sure if they are scattered from them or what! But the real iPod seems to work fine. I love how easy it is! Just update it like this: 2 years later and still works like new. I don't have a phone and only use it as a wifi phone. I can still use the same apps as on my phone, but at a much lower price and in a smaller size. The only thing I'm missing is GPS, but I have the Elf GPS plugin in case I ever need it.
