I had a "generation" of these phones before that. I was very happy with the old pair but lost the headphones so I replaced them. The difference in price between these newer ones and the oldest is about $20, but it's worth the extra cost. The charging case draining seems to have worked, the old model's spare battery was gradually draining even when not in use; This newer model holds a 91% charge for several weeks and only discharges when used as it should. Speaking of the battery, charging via USB-C means one less cable since everything I have uses Type-C and generally offers faster charging times. They have amazing bass drivers, it's like a subwoofer in your ear. All other sound spectrums seem just as amazing. I have a feeling the only people who MIGHT be disappointed with them are the "audiophiles". Life seems pretty spectacular. I've used them for up to 4 hours, I wasn't even close to dying, maybe one day I'll "stress test" them and see what they can do with one charge. The case cover feels cheap, that's the only thing I don't like so far. Best pair of headphones on the market for over $50 if I dare! Solid 5 stars!
