The short - You won't find another LED light with these tech specs for this price in many other places. Quality control and support leaves a lot to be desired and units don't appear to be stress tested against themselves.I've worked in the cultivation industry for over a decade, and a not insignificant portion of that time was as a consultant through grow shops. I have seen, used, and sold many many different lighting options over the years and I've watched LEDs grow from an overhyped, not yet performing tech with a gatekeepers price tag, into the fully viable and broadly accessible platforms there are today.This light has incredibly impressive lighting output and variety of frequency wavelengths. That can't be understated. My plants have loved the COBs and my eyes have loved the rescue from harshe blurple. They seem sturdily built in a physical sense.However in running the unit for 7 months, two COBs cracked (currently up to THREE) under the stress of the units own heat output. Properly ventilated tent. The company responded that I was outside of the 6 month warranty. They offered the purchase of a replacement part or a new unit at a significant reduction. I took the new unit to not be out a light during repair. The new unit arrived and 1/4 panel of the diode grid was DEAD! Contacted the company, and I admit it sat in the box a while before I was able to switch it out, but it's been crickets. The real kicker was that just before I tested the new unit, I actually had purchased two of their smaller lights as I was confident enough in their response that I had been unlucky!So I'm now about $500 invested in the big ones, one of which is half missing COBs, the other is 1/4 missing diodes.My professional recommendation would be1. pick up CMH/LEC tech for the same price and don't look back. It'll outperform anything in this price range.2. Double your money and invest in something that will last and has the support structure built around it to help when it does fail. They all will, we work them hard - the timing and longevity is what we judge on, not necessarily the fail.3. Acknowledge all of this and realize that you'll have a killer LED for a fraction of the price, that you CAN repair, IF you can track your own components, WHEN it fails on you far before it should.
