They will fit an old bike with 8 rear gears or shorter cables like a derailleur. However, if you do a longer run, e.g. B. Running cables from the road arms to the rear derailleur (especially on a large frame), you will stretch those cables as you start putting more tension on the bottom cogs. It can turn an easy job into a nightmare. I would have preferred a better quality cable but in a pinch they might work for a low fidelity bike. FYI these cables are 1.1mm thick with my caliper. Get some 1.2mm cables.
