Review on Apevia ITX AP300W Mini ITX Solid Supply by John Caldwell

Update 11/19/2017: (5 stars) than what I originally purchased. I contacted Apevia support on the 9th after leaving a comment here and received a quick response from Serena suggesting submitting the product for an RMA. I visited the US Post Office on the 11th (on Veteran's Day, of course, since I know my luck) and sent it via Priority Mail for $7. They received it on the 15th (obtained via USPS tracking info) and the same day I received an email from Serena that a replacement had been shipped. I received the replacement yesterday (18th) and installed it in my rack server today. This one is significantly quieter than the one I got in my previous review, almost silent in comparison. Overall, I'm very happy with Apevia's excellent customer service and expedited RMA process, even though it cost me $7 to ship by post. ------------- -- -----------------------Update 11/09/2017: (2 stars) It became unbearable loud as if the bearings on the block were completely shot down. -------------------------------------------------- --------- Original rating: (3 stars) Bloody noisy, I can hear it through the air conditioner in the same room. Also, the screws are too big for the case because the one next to the power supply doesn't fit.
