The lid fits the 30oz Yeti very well. I paid a premium for a Yeti brand lid/straw for my other container but figured I'd save a few bucks and buy this for my other containers. I've used and washed this several times and got the impression something was wrong when I drank from the straw - it was just weird. I didn't think anything of it, but just recently I washed this lid/straw on the normal cycle (I intentionally don't use hot air drying to avoid deforming plastic utensils etc) at the same time as my brand Yeti lid/straw. . But this time, that straw came out badly bent and deformed. All this to say that this is a cheap alternative but you get what you pay for.
