Breaking Needles
I purchased this item for my 5 year old who was encouraged by his teacher to practice fine motor skills to strengthen his hand muscles and improve his writing skills. She loves the project and the design. However, the materials do not seem to be of very high quality. I used a needle to make my own cross stitch with it and the needle broke after about 20 stitches. The needle threading tool broke the third time we had to rethread it. All in all it meets our needs, but we could just buy higher quality components next time.
