For a week this unit stood on the brink.
After lying on the edge of my aquarium for a week I went downstairs one morning and noticed the temperature was slowly dropping. I used a glass thermometer to make sure the water temperature was exactly what I needed. Since the problem is obviously related to that, I decided to see what it did. It kept dropping to 0 and then shutting off. The only thing I can think of is that some sort of condensation has formed inside the case which is shorting it out. I bought this to build up my pool so the return period has expired.
