Review on 🎶 Rockville W65K9D2 Car Audio Subwoofer - 6.5" Dual 2-Ohm, 250w RMS, 1000w Peak, CEA Rated by Chris Horton

I've been with Rockville Binge since I bought their dB45 quad amp a few months ago, and I really like how it works! I recently built a new subwoofer for my car to install a Skar Audio EVL-15 DVC 2ohm subwoofer and since that also recommends 1250 RMS I ended up replacing my old Kenwood amp with a Rockville RDX-M4 1500 -Amplifier RMS x 1 ohm replaced As an aside I've been playing this subwoofer/amplifier for a freaking month now and am very happy with its sound. So I needed a second 15" sub for my other car and figured why not a Rockville K9 15" 2 ohm DVC? :) For the past week I've been running it around in my garage subbox for the most part (it's not as low-tuned as the Autobox) and decided to convert the Skar to a Rockville and play the same rumbling music I hear around apples compare to apples. My box volume is 4.25 cubic feet after speaker/port offset and two 4" x 17" airports tuned to about 28Hz. Very happy to report that it is almost identical! I find the Skar still hits a little deeper/harder than the K9, but compared to every other subwoofer I've owned these two are in a league of their own. Both hit pretty good for 15 inch subs but the low end rumble on these two subs is amazing! Very happy with this subwoofer, especially at this price! The resistance I get on my multimeter shows Skar between 0.9 ohms and 1.1 ohms and Rockville between 1.1 ohms and 1.4 ohms, so there is probably a small difference in performance between the two since my amp is on she's urging, but it's pretty close (I hope it's helpful to readers). I can definitely tell the difference when the Skar is plugged into my smaller/higher tuned subwoofer - it's still more powerful than this Rockville K9, but for the price it's pretty damn close! Either way, I'm a Rockville fan. products and will definitely be buying more of their stuff in the future! I have also used their tech support and I am happy to report that they are very responsive and helpful!
