I'm reluctant to give a bad review. the cups are very pretty. My problem is that One had a marked defect. Just wanted to advise anyone buying as a gift to open and inspect their mugs upon receipt. You can always replace it if there is a defect, but the person you give it to opens it and the first thing they notice is the defect. kind of embarrassing! Great gift, but be careful. It's such a small scratch but if I bought it in a store. I would take another!
