I'm a fat, active person with 4 sprains and a torn tendon. I had been recovering for several months and was ready to put the stirrup on and this exceeded the one I got from the ER. The straps are long, comfortable and close well. Gel and foam pads do not move under the tire and do not cause skin irritation. The length is great and the fit is perfect. But the most pleasant?! It's SO EASY to fit into shoes! The level of support is also perfect for transitioning from hiking boots. The ER show failed all of these points and therefore fell apart. I'm very impressed and glad to have this instead!
