Seems to be working fine.

This is the first and only Pyrography set I've ever owned, so I can't compare it to others. However, it has opened up a different world for me with my art. I love drawing with a pencil and wood burning feels natural. The settings for this burner are very, very sensitive. Although I've seen reviews for it on YouTube, they don't seem to get it and don't like it, don't give it a chance. I only burn to settings between 30-40, mostly 35-38. Even minor adjustments make a difference, so keep that in mind. Once you get used to it, it will be easy to fine-tune it with the dial. The tips have a wide variety and appear to be of good quality. If I buy another burner in the future I will edit my review to compare, so Christmas gift and I've heard good things about Colwood. But so far I'm happy with this kit.

Pros

Variable Temperature Control: Digital voltage control lets you start firing at a lower temperature and then switch to a higher temperature for darker shades.
