S2421HGF Therefore, when I ordered this product, I had the impression that this is a monitor with a free sync function. It was mentioned almost everywhere in the listing. When I received the monitor, I noticed on the box that it was a Gsync monitor. Freesync is not mentioned anywhere on the box. It's really not a problem for me, but it's a little frustrating when I'm misled. Now for the good parts of the monitor. PS5 120Hz compatible via HDMI. This is very important to me as my last monitor only supported 240Hz through the display port. So if you want to buy this monitor for PS5 or even XBX (not sure about Xbox but it should work) buy it. Next I want to talk about the HUD menu. It's really intuitive, fast and has a joystick for easy menu navigation. This is a big plus for those who like to change settings frequently. The display quality is normal. After all, this is a gaming monitor. From the looks of it, it's a TN panel. So if you're expecting an IPS panel, you should look elsewhere. It doesn't really matter to me as I bought this monitor specifically for gaming. Of course, if you're looking at the monitor at an angle, it doesn't look as good when you're looking straight at it. The brightness is quite good. I'm currently using it in my room with three lights on and it doesn't seem to affect it in any way. Most monitors these days have good brightness. So my final verdict is this monitor is good, but as far as I can tell it's a gsync monitor. Plays very well. Smooth and fast response time, ready for PS5. Has a high quality display with a TN panel that works well in a brightly lit room.
