I regret buying this tray. The price was very good. The problem lies in the design. Rounded ends make urine clay balls difficult to remove by sticking to the sides, and the scoops are square instead of round. Because they are rounded, the volume is also reduced, leaving less space for large cats and litter. That means fill up more often. This may work better with Smart Cat Natural Herbal Fillers, which I'm currently switching to. I'll see how it goes. However, it is very short compared to my other Clever Cat troughs. It takes twice as long to clean as I have to literally scrape the rounded ends to remove the residue stuck there after breaking up the clumps that regular brushing removed. Cleaver Cat: Simply lift the dustpan straight up and it scrapes any remaining dirt off the back of the pan in one gentle motion.
