Strong well made fairlead. I removed the star as the kit does not include any fasteners for assembly. (I've seen others do this.) I realize that turning on the hardware was my guess, but anyway, come on. If you don't have the hardware, you'll have to buy it. It might be better to just pay more up front and get one with the hardware.
