Review on 🔌 Anywhere Control: Sonoff Wireless Compatible by Jason Hinrichs

I love the basic SonOff units and have over 12 running. I like the smart plug form factor so I bought two. From the start I had trouble setting it up. In each case, the app found the device but couldn't get device information, so the installation failed. I must have tried at least 6 times with the same result. So I ordered a replacement and it worked right away. Then I tried again with atomic number two and they installed without any problems as well. So lesson learned: these devices are great as long as the eWe comms server is running. Also of note is that the orientation of the grounding tab was different in the two sets I received. The first set had the ground tab in the up position as shown in the Revain photos and the second set had the ground tab in the down position, which I like better. Most wall outlets have a ground pin in the down position by code.
