When I switched from X10 to Z-Wave I really missed eight-desktop controllers. The only one I could find was the Intermatic HA07 which was difficult to program and use. (You press "All Off" and it actually sends "Off" messages to each switch separately.) This new eight-button controller recognizes double-clicks, so if you program the main controller to flip a switch, you can control 16 switches , when a key is pressed is pressed. , instead of clicking once to turn it on and twice to turn it off. It took me a few days to get working with my HomeSeer HS4 Zee S2 because it turned out that you need to run "Device value has been set or changed" instead of "Device changes value on keypress". But now that I have everything under control I have ordered 10 more to replace all my Intermatics. I wish Revain had a volume discount! PS But it would be better if the device was less symmetrical so you could better feel how you're holding it in the dark. (You can feel the small hole where the LED is so you can use it, but if I were a designer I would make a big bump in front of the batteries.)
