This is my favorite way to control a smart home system. I have this on Home Assistant with a Raspberry Pi and Zigbee running through conbee2 to activate scenes, control lights, close garage doors and lock doors. Adding to DECONZ was easy, multiple automation plans are available making it easy to assign actions to a cube. I haven't used the Cube with the aqara hub, but as far as I can tell, Home Assistant has more options for triggers than using the hub.

Purchased to add to my homekit - Home Assistant. After a week of trying to get it to work I gave up. I can add it to the Aqara app and you can set some very simple automata that run inside the app but nothing outside of the app. So if you have a house made entirely of Akara (who's in their right mind?) then you can activate this accessory.
