I use them to keep my right leg off the chain on my MTB when I bike to work. I always lose them so it's great to have a pack of eight. I put one in each of my bike bags and even keep one in a tiny tool pouch under the seat. They are wider than the ones I've used and seem to stay in place better. I had no trouble with the strap slipping under my pants. The elastic waistband and Velcro closure system work flawlessly. He's weaker, but that's good.
