I'm in between sizes and have a slightly wide foot. When I bought them after reading the description I figured I should just take the smaller of the two sizes and ordered a 6.5 instead of a 7. They are too tight. They fit quite well at the beginning of the day when I'm wearing VERY thin socks, but at the end of the day after walking to and from class around campus (I'm a professor) they got so tight that my toes were on mine the right foot lost all feeling and there were bruises on the instep of both legs. For sizes 6.5-7.5 I recommend ordering your normal size and NOT a size down. The only reason they are losing a star is because based on the description I ordered a size that I don't think fit. However, this is the perfect shoe for transgender/trans umbrellas who are more comfortable with being a little taller. They are neutral, professional and quite frankly very attractive. The tread is durable, which gives me confidence in their ability to handle the Iowa winter. If they were the right size, I think they would fit in very easily, which comes in handy on a busy morning when you're rushing to get an early lesson.
