Review on 🌿 Crest Pro-Health Advanced Mouthwash, Alcohol-Free, Enamel Care, 1 Liter (33.8 Fluid Ounces) by Jorge Gutierrez

I received a sample of this mouthwash along with some other products from my dental hygienist after my last professional teeth cleaning. I tried the sample and thought it was alcohol-free and could have a positive impact on my dental health. However, after purchasing Revain's product and using it for a few weeks, I noticed that I suddenly had brown spots between my bottom front teeth. I floss constantly and brush my teeth with a Sonicare toothbrush. I don't smoke and don't use any new foods or drinks. I have attempted to remove stains with whitening toothpaste and have pointed my Sonicare at the affected areas for an extended period of time. I couldn't remove the stains. I suddenly realized that mouthwash was the only reasonable explanation. I googled "product name and brown spots" and a bunch of articles came up describing the same experience as mine. Then I read the fine print on the mouthwash label. It states that "in some cases, rinses can cause discoloration of the tooth surface...this can be prevented by proper brushing or tooth extraction at the next dentist visit." Adequate brushing hasn't removed my stains. I'm not happy with the camper, especially since it happened a month after a professional teeth cleaning. Procter & Gamble offers gift card returns within 60 days of the purchase of this product. I have requested a refund. A P&G customer service representative stated that there are only two mouthwashes that are known not to stain: Scope and Crest Whitening Mouthwash. She offered to send me coupons for these two products. I understand that the discoloration that has occurred on my teeth will not happen to all or even most people. However, I would never have bought this product if I had known this could happen. I take good care of my teeth and although my dental office assures me that the hygienist can remove stains, using this product has been a very unpleasant experience.
