These controllers are amazing. I mostly just play Animal Crossing, the turbo button makes the game much easier and more fun. I use the turbo to quickly press A when diving, bumping into rocks, crafting some furniture or tools. I wish these controllers could read amiibo because I often invite amiibo villagers. But my workaround is to use a pro controller. Speaking of pro controllers, if you have a Nintendo pro controller and like the feel, I'd say this one feels pretty much the same. It makes me want to play handheld! I have pretty small hands and these controllers don't feel too big. I hated how the joy cons felt the most, they actually hurt my thumb from pressing A so many times.
