The remote as all Roku remotes does a fine job of inputting. voice recognition is somewhat improved over the previous model. what I bought it for is the find me feature. it works but the speaker poorly placed making it inaudible if wrapped in blankets (yup you guessed it we lose it in bed a lot!). the remote can hear us and play alert but a comforter over it muffles it to the point that one can't hear it unless the tv is muted meaning we still need the TV remote at hand. I say to Roku this is a swing and a BIG miss. increased volume or even added vibrator would be much better.
