I've been using a lactic acid toner a few times a week for almost a year. It helped a little with acne but made my skin red and dry if I used it too much. I decided to try BHA instead of AHA so I bought this one. I've had it for a week and use it every night after cleansing. I had a cluster of large pimples on my left cheek and they went away much faster than usual! I was afraid it would dry out my skin, but it doesn't. My face is actually less red than before the application. I think green tea extract helps with that. Dries well and leaves no stickiness on face. It's more expensive than I'd like, but honestly it's worth the money considering how well it works for me. A word of advice: a salicylic acid toner isn't very effective because you wash it off your skin right away. Using a toner like this allows the acid to stay on the skin and do its job. Instead, use a gentle facial cleanser (I use Vanicream) that doesn't dry out your skin as much. Always moisturize your skin after use, but wait at least 30 minutes for the toner to dry completely.
