For me, this is the first receiver (although it’s not a receiver) of this level, before that it was simpler from Onkyo, which I bought as part of a home theater. Therefore, I’m not a sophisticated user, and since I didn’t see any reviews on this device, I decided to write it . A good AV amplifier, with a good power reserve and also a reserve for the future. If you consider it in cinematic terms, then it will definitely not disappoint you, the effects of multi-channel sound work out with a bang, the details in the movie are heard perfectly, the depth of the scene is felt even at low volumes. The ability to connect 9.2 out of the box, while the DAC allows you to assemble 11.2 but with an additional amplifier. I connected 5.1.2 myself: the front wharfadele evo 4.4, the center and the rear + dolby were left from the onkyo HT-S7805 cinema, where there are speakers at the front directed to the ceiling (atmos), now in my rear. Well, the active subwoofer from HECA complements the bottoms. To be honest, I am delighted with this device, the sound and its capabilities delight me from the moment of purchase. As for the stereo mode, yes, it will not swing the fronts like an integrated stereo amplifier from at least 70-80 but everyone else will not yield !

- 1. there is no way to make a stereo + center mode - it was on a cheaper onkyo, and it was not necessary to climb into the jungle to set up the front + sub, it changed on the fly, here, alas, we climb into the settings and configure. 2. The application for controlling from the phone, not to be confused with HEOS for controlling Internet radio, installed, buggy and slow + complain that it quickly drains the phone's battery, respectively, removed it. 3. It is not a receiver, there is no FM antenna in the kit, although now it is hardly needed. 4. It heats up, specifically, unlike the same Onkyo receiver, so you can’t put something on it, there must also be a distance to the left and right, which would be blown, otherwise I’m afraid my friend may overheat. 5. I did not find how to remove the cut in manual mode, for example, from the fronts, I left at least 40hz. in the auto calibration mode, the slice was removed from the fronts on its own.
