Review on 🧵 SINGER Universal Hard Carrying Case: White, Impact Resistant, Fits Most Free-Arm Portable Sewing Machines - Simplify Sewing On-the-Go by Shannon Myers

This is almost the only hard carrying case I could find for a sewing machine. My entry-level Janome machine is a bit small for this, so when I use it for travel it needs a pillow to keep it from rattling. That's not really a problem, it's better to be too big than too small. I like that the bottom is a low tray so I can plug in the machine while it's standing on it, I don't have to take it off every time I don't want to. I got this as a storage box, not for travel, to keep it safe from my cat when not in use (who just had a very expensive surgery for eating the thread off the spool on it) so I didn't want to pick it up. Storage machine after each use. The metal clips seem pretty strong, but the plastic might be too light. A larger machine that fills the hull more can flex the floor when lifted. When I took it out of the box it wasn't closed properly either, one side was misaligned and possibly a bit bent. I had to press it to close it properly. It also has a few scuffs, mainly on the bottom (see right corner in the picture) but also some scuffs/stains on the lid. I can follow the advice of others and see it through. Overall good for the price and without much competition. Meets my needs well.
