I bought these during the peak sale days and the price range is $20-$25 and you can't beat the price or the Value. . I've had and still own more expensive units and there are some differences as they come with a cast iron frame for heat dissipation and they don't have that but they do have heat sinks along with the brightness output. better on pricier units but I have put all four in my garage and when my garage door has a crack I often think I accidentally left the garage door open in the middle of the day because it is so bright. There's not a single time that someone sees my garage door open or comes to visit and doesn't comment on how cute he is. I've even installed them permanently in my garage door opener, which won't be easy as everyone knows garage door bulbs are angled so you can either make a new socket for them or just take epoxy and swap out an existing one, but remember you need light shields lose, but who needs them when you've got paddles on a lightbulb. So yes, the $40 bulbs you see here are better in the long run in terms of performance, but at $5 with some modifications it's an amazing value I couldn't beat.
