Very Disappointed in my review

Sorry but I’ve given this hatchet a workout and found a) it dulls very easily and b) it’s not very effective in splitting firewood. It’s a convenient carry for the woods/camping but don’t expect it to be your go-to at home for fireplace wood and kindling. As a side note, my old hatchet got lost but it had it a full leather blade cover. The cover for this blade is not gonna stop an accident.Addendum 12/09/22 I was rather severe in the above review and I should have noted that the hatchet was advertised for basic chopping of wood, not necessarily log splitting for firewood kindling.

Pros

We use the hatchet to clean our briar patch.

Can cause damage to nearby objects or structures if not used carefully
