Audio is audible in all but the quietest of situations

I bought the unit because of the audible alarm and the +/-2% accuracy rating. I tried a torque wrench on the camshaft cover on a Honda motorcycle engine. Adjust to 90 in-lbs. At 86 pounds it started clicking slightly and the LEDs lit up (*hard to tell when they light up as the display backlight bleeds around them). He reached 94 before a barely audible beep sounded. I replaced the batteries and tried again. the same thing. I couldn't get close because the fan on my laptop was running when it was more than 4 feet away. It's inconvenient to use, especially in situations where you can see it while using it or never work in a store. I return the block.

Pros
  • ✅ SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE - 72 gear teeth for 5 degrees per ratchet click and pre-calibrated to 2% torque accuracy for a range of 9 to 44 ft-lbs. Ideal for medium torque applications such as cars, trucks and metal fasteners.
