Wine Snob approved on wine and champagne glasses

I'm both a winemaker and a wine snob. I wanted to upgrade my wine glasses to a universally superior glass for better tasting. They exceeded my expectations for the price. The most important aspects for me are the angles of the lens, the width of the body and the thinness of the lips. This glass is ideal in these aspects. It focuses the flavors on your nose (angle) and is wide enough to aerate the wine in a reasonable amount of time without overexposing it and losing all the unique flavor notes (balanced bowl width). The biggest aspect and the main reason why you have to pay more for wine glasses is the thin glass rim. This allows you to draw in air as you sip the wine, fully opening the wine and giving you the most accurate wine profile. The rim of this glass is so thin that I think it might be totally impractical to use for fear of breakage. The only downside to this glass is that it's a little heavy for my taste, but that's a very minor downside that I don't even notice now that I've gotten used to it. In short, these glasses compete with more expensive ones. double price and very good quality. I would recommend them to anyone who appreciates their wine. I use them daily and put them in the dishwasher and none have broken in a month which speaks for their quality.
