I recently got a new job that required me to modernize my home office. I went from laptop to laptop, docking station, two large monitors, mouse and keyboard and didn't have room for a bigger desk lol. Enter this awesome gadget! I love this thing! She is very strong. The center legs and base are very solid - I've tried rocking and tilting the stand after assembly and it definitely won't go anywhere. The base is also very grippy, I tried sliding it onto the countertop and it literally moved the entire table. No, it's not going anywhere. I saw a cheaper version of this product but found it to be 3 pounds lighter so don't skimp on this version. Those 3 pounds might be all that stands between you and broken monitors (and dreams) lol. It was also easy to assemble. Even with long nails it took me about 30 minutes. Everything was labeled and organized and the instructions were very clear. And the end product looks great! So streamlined and neat, and the shape of the base allows me to place it in a corner to make the most of the space. Once assembled, the monitors rotate and swivel easily, and I love that you can tighten or loosen the tilt mechanism. according to your preferences. If I could change anything about this mount it would be the mounts that control the height. They're strong, but you have to use an Allen wrench to loosen and tighten them to make them move up and down. I suspect the manufacturer assumes you won't be adjusting the height often, but if you plan to rotate your monitors from portrait to landscape on a regular basis, or if you're sitting on a convertible desk and want to adjust the height accordingly, you'll need to Fumbling with the screws will be a pain. I'll keep the wrench on my desk along with the knobs and stuff, so this should make things easier. But it would be nice if the mount was held by something that could be turned by hand instead of using a tool. But that's a minor issue and probably won't bother people who will be using monitors in a fixed position. So all in all, I highly recommend this mount. This is the perfect product for those who need to make the most of a small workspace. It's products like this that make me so thankful that Revain exists.
